FlangeTool II is used to calculate the required flange thickness where hinge plates, tie or limit rods are used. Flange can be oval or round flange with weld on lugs as shown in the images from the program. Images do not show all of the possibilities.

Program has calculation options for operation, pressure test and using EN or ASME based allowable design limits. Imperial or metric unit systems can be used.

Depending on the design option selected FlangeTool II calculates the minimum flange thickness to use or evaluates the maximum stress against the allowable.

Required material values are taken from a material database so user doesn't need to enter any material values.
